Make sure you step up and volunteer to help out at one or more of our events this year. Saguaro Velo puts on more races than any other team. Everyone should be proud. The 2010 Saguaro Velo events are as follows:
May: Mt. Lemmon TT
Jun: Track Trip #1 & #2, Picacho Peak TT #1
July: Sonoita TT, Picacho Peak TT #2
Aug: State Track Championships, Picacho Peak TT #3 and TTT
Sep: Kitt Peak TT
So, get out and try some racing this year. Put a time down on a TT, then improve on it the next month. If you are new to racing, don't hesitate to ask questions on the group email list. There are plenty of Saguaro Velo veterans out there, with lots of experience that will be glad to share their thoughts and perspectives.
If you have been off the bike for a while make a commitment to get back on. Start small. Maybe an hour a week. Just do it. Get out and ride. And don't forget to volunteer. Have a great year everyone!
