Kitt Peak Time Trial |

What? |
A 11.6 mile hill climb time trial up to the Kitt Peak National Observatory. Vertical gain is 3400 feet. |

Where? |
The TT begins at the gate at the bottom of AZ Highway 386. From Phoenix, take I-10 to I-19 south. Exit Ajo way and follow AZ-86 west all the way past Three Points. Turn left on AZ-386 and find a place to park. |

When? |
August 17, 2008. Registration is from 6:00-7:00 am. First rider off at 7:30. Riders start on 30 second intervals. Don't be late. |

How Much? |
$15 registration. Juniors $2. One day licenses $10. |

Prize List |
Bragging rights only. Series champions win a t-shirt. Trophies to the Best Mountain Man and Best Mountain Woman for combined lowest time on Kitt Peak and Mount Lemmon. |

Preregistration |
We’ll do in-person preregistration the night before the race from 6-8 pm at Lerua’s Mexican Restaurant, 2005 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson. |

Anything Else? |
Course is open to traffic. Please ride as far to the right as possible. The race is held on Tohono O'Odham reservation land. Please be respectful of our hosts. Descend carefully. This road was newly chip-sealed in 2006. The race is up the hill. Held under USCF permit. |
